| dc.description.abstract |
The LIFE Fitting project (2023-2025) involved 3 partners (LNEC, TRATAVE, SA, Universidade Católica do Porto) and successfully achived its two main objectives: (i) to soundly evaluate, at full scale, operational strategies to enhance the removal of micropolluants, antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and other contaminants of emerging concem (CECs) in wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) with activated sludge (AS) systems and ozonation and (ii) to developed the PLAN-DO toolbox for smart monitoring, operation, and strategic planning of such plants integrating 5 tools: Monitor Tool, PAStool, CEC Forecast Tool, Smart Discharge Tool, and Plan Tool. |
